Teaching English as a Second Language via the Internet

WHY? In February 2011 we added a cyber school to the mission in Haiti. Since it is sometimes difficult to find people to go and stay in Haiti, this would be a good alternative to being able to still teach English.

WHO? We are looking for committed individuals to teach English as a second language via the internet. We need teachers for all levels of English; Beginners to Intermediate.

WHAT? To teach English from your home you will need a computer, a good internet connection and a webcam.

WHEN? Days and times are flexible but what works best for the students in Haiti is late afternoons during the week (2 or 3 days a week) for 2 hours or 2 or 3 hours on the weekends.

HOW? We will provide the curriculum. There is a teacher’s manual and the book and workbook that the students in your class would also have.
