Text Box: Food for Haiti
Text Box: Thank you...
Text Box: there were still 75 bags remaining that would be distributed to neighbors and friends of the mission.
God is good… please keep praying for the people of Haiti.
Text Box: I want to sincerely thank every one who donated to helping us feed the hungry while we were in HAITI December 27-31.
On Wednesday, Dec 29 we distributed food to 200 school children and teachers at Greater Works Academy.
On Thursday, Dec 30 we boarded a bus and took 267 bags of food consisting of 5 lbs rice, 2 lbs beans, 2 cans of fish, 2 lbs of spaghetti, 3 cans of milk, a bottle of cooking oil and bouillon, to a church in the inner city of Port-au-Prince. The people there were excited to receive such a gift. We also donated 150- 5lb bags of rice to the church for distribution in their Text Box: community.
While I had asked for $3000 for this project… I received in excess of $6000... so we were able to do exceedingly, abundantly above what we thought.
When we left Haiti on Dec 31, Text Box: Port-au-Prince, Haiti December 2010

If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, Your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go.  I'll give you a full life in the emptiest of places— firm muscles, strong bones. You'll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry.                       -Isaiah 58:10 & 11
